STRIPLEX Paint Remover

Product Description

A fast acting, relatively safe paint stripper (Remover). It is efficient for the removal of all types of paint finishes. This stripper does not darken or damage surface of metal, aluminium or wood fiber. Further it will take only 2 to 3 minutes to complete the job.

Application

Apply even wet coat with brush or roll. Although the product may be sprayed, spraying is not recommended due to the long working life of the remover. Over spray may result in damage to painted surfaces not scheduled for removal. The paint film lifts from the surface within 2 to 3 minutes and the air pockets behind the film prevent the stripper from wetting the surface again. In case of multiple layers, depending on how many layers a single application affects, reapplication of stripper may be necessary once the blistered film has been removed. Since the active ingredients in the stripper evaporate slowly, scoring the substrate or working the stripper to maintain uniformly wetted surfaces is beneficial.

Removal

For best results, use a power washer. Allow surface to touch if additional coats of stripper are required. When power washing is not practical, scrapping is acceptable. Follow the scrubbing, using warm soap water and a stiff bristle brush.

Hazardness

Paint strippers contain chemicals that loosen paint from surfaces. These chemicals can harm you if not used properly. Paint stripping chemicals catch fire easily and others can irritate the skin and eyes or cause headaches, drowsiness, nausea, dizziness or loss of coordination. Proper handling and use of paint strippers will reduce your exposure to these chemicals and lessen your health risk.

General Safety Precautions

	Carefully read and follow the instructions and safety precautions mentioned on the label.
	Use appropriate chemical resistant gloves, instead of common kitchen latex gloves.
	Wear protective clothing and goggles to avoid paint remover getting on your skin and in your eyes.
	If possible use the paint remover outdoors. If you must work indoors open all the doors and windows to facilitate the movement of fresh air throughout the room and cross - ventilation. Fan must be used to blow away the paint remover fumes away from you and to the outside. The Chemicals used in paint remover will evaporate and are highly flammable. Breathing high levels of these chemicals may cause irritation of the eyes, skin, nose and lungs. Hence work in places having plenty of ventilation & fresh air.
	Do not keep paint remover near any source of sparks, flame or high heat.
	Dispose properly the paint remover container after its use. Observe all Federal, State and Local Environmental Regulations.
